Kyle Nyberg

Kyle Nyberg is a seasoned aerospace engineer with extensive experience in suborbital spaceflight operations and vehicle management. Currently serving as the Senior Engineering Backroom Lead for Blue Origin, Nyberg oversees technical decision-making and anomaly resolution for the New Shepard Mission Control team while supporting launch operations. Previously, as a Launch Vehicle Manager, Nyberg was responsible for the flight readiness of Blue Origin's reusable rocket, leading significant retrofitting projects. Prior experience includes roles at Masten Space Systems, where Nyberg was involved in the fabrication and flight testing of reusable rockets, and an internship at Boeing focused on oil endurance analysis for the 777 airliner. Nyberg's foundational experience in aviation includes significant contributions to the Port Townsend Aero Museum, where engagement in community service and pilot training was emphasized. Nyberg holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Washington.
