Lara Cackovich

Lara Cackovich is an accomplished aerospace engineer with a strong background in propulsion and engineering operations. Currently serving as the Engineering Operations Lead at Blue Origin since January 2024, Lara previously held positions as a Propulsion Engineer and Test Engineer at Ursa Major from July 2022 to November 2023. Lara's academic foundation includes a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University. Key experiences include conducting advanced thruster testing and system design at Purdue, interning with Aerojet Rocketdyne on valve assembly and electric thruster projects, and contributing to thermal design assessments at GE Aviation. Additionally, Lara has experience in research and statistical analysis from previous internships with Henkel and GE Aviation.
