Melanie Weber

Melanie Weber is currently a Flight Operations Engineer at BLUE ORIGIN, a position held since February 2023. Prior to this role, Melanie amassed extensive experience at Boeing from May 2008 to February 2023, serving as a Structural and Mechanical Design Engineer, focusing on Crew and Cargo Accommodations Design and Launch Pad Operations, and participated in the Commercial Crew Development Rotation Program. Additionally, Melanie worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer on International Space Station stage drawings and on-orbit installations. Earlier in Melanie's career, from June 2004 to April 2008, Melanie served as an Aeronautical Engineer at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, concentrating on structural design for the F-22 mid-fuselage. Melanie holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, earned between 1999 and 2004.
