Michael Martinez

Michael Martinez is an accomplished aerospace systems engineer with significant experience in the engineering field. Currently serving as an Aerospace Systems Engineer II at Blue Origin since September 2025, Michael previously held positions at Southwest Research Institute as a Research Engineer and Engineer from July 2022 to September 2025, and at DBR Engineering Consultants, Inc. as an Electrical Engineer in Training from February 2022 to July 2022. Prior roles include an Electrical Engineer at Smith Seckman Reid, Inc. from June 2021 to February 2022 and an internship as an Electrical Engineer at NASA Glenn Research Center in the summer of 2020. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Texas A&M University-Kingsville, where studies concluded in 2021.
