Michael McClure

Controls Engineer - Lunar Lander

Michael McClure is a highly skilled mechanical engineer with extensive experience in controls and safety engineering. Currently serving as a Controls Engineer for both the Lunar Lander and New Glenn projects at Blue Origin since November 2020, McClure previously worked at Boeing from May 2018 to November 2020, where responsibilities included conducting FMEA and FTA analyses for the 777X Autoflight system, as well as leading design efforts on hydraulic flight control actuators. McClure has also contributed to various research projects and internships, including designing an active exoskeleton for stroke rehabilitation and collaborating on the AutoDrive Challenge for autonomous vehicles. McClure holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University and is pursuing a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology, expected to graduate in May 2024.
