Mitchell Lea

Mitchell Lea is an experienced industrial engineer currently working at Blue Origin since May 2023. Prior to this role, Mitchell held positions at Boeing from June 2018 to May 2023, where responsibilities included manufacturing engineering and industrial engineering. Educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering and Industrial Engineering from Oregon State University, attended from 2009 to 2017. Additional experience encompasses various internships, including roles at Insitu, Inc., FLIR Systems, and R-Sport International, where Mitchell focused on developing work instructions and re-engineering designs. Prior to engineering internships, Mitchell worked as a photographer/videographer at Oregon State University, capturing media for marketing purposes, and as a photojournalism intern with Krochet Kids Intl. in Uganda, documenting beneficiaries of the program.
