Nathan McKay

Nathan McKay is a seasoned Simulation Engineer at Blue Origin since April 2018, with a strong foundation in aerospace engineering. Prior experience includes a tenure as a Systems Engineer at Boeing from August 2013 to March 2018, where Nathan developed verification products and oversaw component qualification testing. Nathan's earlier roles comprise Structures Engineer at Michigan Exploration Laboratory, where structural finite element analysis was performed for CubeSat studies, and an Engineering Intern at Raytheon Missile Systems, focusing on simulation tools for air vehicle missions. Nathan also managed a team at the Student Space Systems Fabrication Laboratory, developed jet engine performance testing as an intern at Williams International, contributed to solar cell fabrication processes at NASA Glenn Research Center, and conducted research in precision lab equipment as a Laboratory Assistant. Nathan holds a Master of Engineering in Space Systems Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan.
