Paul Lyda

Paul Lyda is a skilled welding engineer with a Master's degree in Welding Engineering and Materials Science from The Ohio State University. Paul has experience at AJR Joining and Materials Engineering LLC, where work focused on solidification rate studies of aerospace-grade alloys, and as a Welding Engineering Intern at GE Aviation. Currently, Paul serves as a Vehicle Integrator/Program Manager at Blue Origin, managing projects for the NG-1 launch and leading the mobile test stand for GS2 Hot Fire. Paul’s experience also includes a role as a Weld Engineer at Blue Origin, contributing to the manufacturing of Propellant Tanks for the New Glenn launch vehicle and improving friction stir welding processes. Prior internships included work at DNV GL and research at The Ohio State University, focusing on various aspects of welding and materials testing.
