Reed Forehand

Reed Forehand is a PhD candidate in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Central Florida, where they also earned a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering, with minors in Computer Science and Intelligent Robotic Systems. They have work experience as a Fluids and Propulsion Design Engineer at Blue Origin, focusing on gas generation systems for both cislunar transporters and lunar landers, and previously served as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Jacobs. Their research interests include propulsion systems, computational fluid dynamics, aerodynamics, and robotics, complemented by roles as a Graduate Research Assistant and an Undergraduate Research Assistant at their university.
