Richard Long

Richard Long has extensive experience in the aerospace and manufacturing sectors, with a career spanning from 1994 to the present. Currently serving as the New Glenn Machined Part Sourcing Lead at Blue Origin since August 2012, Richard has held various roles focused on supply chain management for machined rocket parts. Prior experience includes positions at Spindle Dynamics LLC as President and several roles at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, including Toolmaker, where responsibilities involved the design and manufacture of tools for nuclear vessels. Richard also contributed as Manufacturing/Engineering Manager at Jevco International. Education includes a Journeyman certificate in Machine Tool Technology from Clover Park Technical College and a high school diploma from Kaiserslautern American High School.
