Blue Origin
Steven Stanley is a highly accomplished aerospace engineer with extensive experience in propulsion and turbomachinery. Currently serving as the Principal Manager of Propulsion and Turbomachinery in Advanced Development Programs at Blue Origin since April 2020, Stanley leads a team focused on developing innovative capabilities in space propulsion and related technologies. Previous roles include Principal Propulsion Research Engineer at Blue Origin, where management of advanced propulsion projects was key, and Principal Engineer at Aerojet Rocketdyne, overseeing performance modeling for propulsion systems. In addition to industry work, Stanley holds a part-time position as an Affiliate Professor at the University of Washington College of Engineering, teaching courses in gas turbine and rocket propulsion. Educational credentials include a PhD and multiple master's degrees in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington, the University of Michigan, and Texas A&M University.
