Thomas Koch

Thomas Koch is a Senior Aerospace Engineer at Blue Origin since November 2018, specializing in the design and implementation of guidance, navigation, and control algorithms for autonomous space launch vehicles. Prior to this role, Thomas Koch served as an Engineering Manager at Boeing from May 2005 to November 2018, leading teams in the design and testing of automatic flight control systems, and also held positions as a Flight Control Law Engineer, Stability and Control Flight Test Engineer, and Flight Control System Engineer. Thomas Koch began his career with an internship at Honeywell Aerospace in 2004, contributing to aviation heat transfer and electrical power equipment design. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Aeronautics & Astronautics from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma.
