Joel Lankford

Joel Lankford is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Vice President of Alternative Credit - Financial Assets at Blue Owl Capital since September 2024. Prior to this role, Lankford held various positions at Atalaya Capital Management from April 2021 to September 2024, including Vice President, Senior Associate, and Associate. Lankford's earlier experience includes serving as an Investment Banking Associate in Asset-Backed Securitization at KeyBanc Capital Markets, as well as roles at BNY Mellon, where Lankford was a Risk Consultant and participated in the Emerging Leaders Program. Lankford began the career at BNY Mellon Wealth Management as an Investment Analyst Intern and has a background as a Tennis Instructor at Fox Chapel Golf Club. Lankford earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Finance from Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business and graduated with honors from Mt Lebanon Senior High School.
