Eric Gelgand has extensive experience in both brewing and visual effects, currently serving as a Brewer and Cellar Man at Blue Point Brewing Company since April 2018. As the owner and Freelance VFX Flame Artist at sic tank inc. since January 2010, Gelgand has honed technical skills in visual effects. Previous roles include Senior Flame Artist at Manic, Lead VFX/Flame Artist at Nice Shoes, and Film Assistant/VFX Artist at Manhattan Transfer/Edit. Gelgand's educational background includes training sessions in Flame at Discreet/Autodesk from 1998 to 2005, technical studies in video at the Center for the Media Arts from 1989 to 1990, and attendance at Nassau Community College from 1985 to 1987.
