Matt Pelletier

Matt Pelletier has extensive work experience in the technology and software engineering industry. Matt most recently served as the Chief Technology Officer at Blue Rabbit Veterinary since October 2021. Before that, they worked at Covetrus, where they held the positions of Vice President, Software Engineering from September 2020 to October 2021, and Senior Director, Software Engineering from February 2019 to September 2020. Prior to Covetrus, Matt held various roles at Vets First Choice, including Director of Engineering from November 2014 to February 2019, Software Development Manager from December 2011 to November 2014, and Principal Application Developer from December 2010 to December 2011. Matt also worked as a Senior Application Developer at IDEXX Laboratories from December 2006 to December 2010. Matt's earlier career includes positions as a Software Engineer at Liberty Mutual Group from May 2005 to December 2006, a Test Developer at StayinFront from August 2004 to May 2005, a Java Developer / Intern at National Semiconductor from May 2003 to August 2004. In addition to their professional work, Matt served as a Soldier, Mountaineering in the Maine Army National Guard from August 2000 to August 2004, and as a Paratrooper in the US Army from August 1996 to August 2000.

Matt Pelletier graduated from the University of Southern Maine in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. These certifications include Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP®) from the Project Management Institute in October 2015, Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance in November 2014, Project Management Professional (PMP®) from the Project Management Institute in October 2014, Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM) from Scrum Alliance in March 2013, Certified SAFe® 5 Product Owner/Product Manager from Scaled Agile, Inc. in April 2020, Certified SAFe® 4 Scrum Master from Scaled Agile, Inc. in February 2020, and Certified SAFe® 4 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in January 2020.
