Linda Baker has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Linda started their career as a Staff Accountant at Arthur Young in 1984 before moving on to MHI Group, Inc. as an Assistant Controller. Linda then worked as a Senior Accountant at Cherry Bekaert LLP and as a Controller at Environments, Inc. In 1993, they took on the role of Vice President of Finance at Tallulah Falls School until 2004 when they became the Director of Finance and Operations at Frederica Academy. Their next position was as the Chief Business Officer at Stuart Hall School, where they worked until 2017. Currently, Linda serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Blue Ridge Area Food Bank, overseeing the acquisition and distribution of millions of pounds of food to those in need.

Linda Baker completed their education at the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business. From 1980 to 1982, they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a specialization in Finance - Investments & Security Analysis. Following this, they pursued further education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Accounting from the same institution, completing this degree in 1984. Additionally, Linda holds a certification as a Certified Public Accountant from an institution in South Carolina.
