Lydia Hadley has over 25 years of experience in finance and accounting, currently serving as Controller at Blue Ridge Area Food Bank Network since 2009. Prior to this role, Lydia served as the Director of Finance for the Town of Orange from 2006 to 2009, and as a Staff Accountant at Anderson, White and Co from 1996 to 2006. Lydia earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Math from Lycoming College, where studies were completed from 1966 to 1980, and graduated from MacDuffie School in 1966.

Founded in 1981, the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank is the largest organization alleviating hunger in western and central Virginia. Headquartered in Verona, VA, we serve neighbors in need in 25 counties and nine cities through distribution centers in Charlottesville, Lynchburg, Winchester and Verona. We distribute nearly 22 million pounds of food annually to 109,500 people each month through a network of more than 400 community partners – food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, schools, churches and other non-profit groups.
