Ralph Seamon is an experienced engineering manager with a strong background in electrical engineering and consulting. Since May 2006, Ralph has served as the Engineering Manager for Blue Ridge Energy, overseeing engineering efforts for an electric cooperative serving 74,000 members. Prior to this role, Ralph held the position of Vice President at Booth & Associates from 1990 to 2006, where expertise was applied in electrical consulting engineering for various electric systems and the design of protection and control systems for transmission and distribution substations up to 230 kV. Earlier in Ralph's career, from 1982 to 1990, experience was gained as a Protection & Controls Engineer at Carolina Power & Light Co., focusing on electric substations up to 230 kV. Ralph holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University (1982) and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (1976).

Offices serving propane and fuels consumers are also located in Morganton, NC, and Independence, Va. A second subsidiary, RidgeLink, LLC, is a business-to-business company offering dark fiber to national companies needing middle mile and long-haul capacity for data, voice and video services.
