Deanne Avery

Deanne Avery, CHC, CHFM, CHE, PMP, serves as the Director of Capital Projects, Planning, Design, Construction, and Real Estate at UNC Health Blue Ridge since March 2004, overseeing facilities planning, construction, and property management within the healthcare system. Prior roles include Project Manager, where responsibilities encompassed the comprehensive management of various construction projects, and Capital Projects Coordinator, managing coordination among architects, engineers, and contractors. Earlier experience includes support roles in construction projects and surgical services coordination. Deanne holds a Master of Science in Project Management from Sam Houston State University, a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from California Coast University, and a diploma in Construction Project Management from North Carolina State University.
