Samuel Addo

Samuel Addo is currently serving as an Internal Medicine Resident Physician at UNC Health Blue Ridge since July 2022, following a Sub-Intern Rotation at the same institution in early 2022. Samuel's diverse clinical rotations include Family Medicine at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center, Gastroenterology, Palliative and Geriatric Medicine, and Emergency Psychiatry at Interfaith Medical Center. Additional experiences include OBGYN at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center and Pediatrics at O'Connor Hospital. Prior nursing experience includes roles as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Aegis Friendly Home Caregivers & Staffing Services and a children/adolescent psychiatry unit, where duties focused on patient care and maintaining communication with healthcare teams. Samuel Addo earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Medical University of the Americas in 2022 and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2016.
