Marsha is a life-long resident of Winchester and was a public educator for 34 years, having taught in Frederick County Public Schools and Winchester Public Schools. She is currently an Adjunct Instructor in Music Education at Shenandoah University.
Marsha attended Mary Washington College (now University) for two years before transferring to Shenandoah Conservatory of Music, where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education. She later attended Shenandoah University to obtain her Masters in Music Education.
Marsha is a member of the Glen Burnie Garden Club and has been a volunteer at John Kerr Elementary School. She has chaired the Bland Contest for the Winchester Host Lions Club for the last three years. She has been involved in District Choral Events (District XIV) as an event chair and as an adjudicator. Recently, she was the guest conductor of the Loudoun County Public Schools All-County Elementary Chorus.
