Curtis Schruth is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in photography and videography. Currently serving as Producer/Director at Blue Ridge PBS since November 2022, Curtis has also held the position of Director of Photography at Fat Squirrel Media since April 2016. Previous roles include Videographer at Fusion Growth Partners and Chief Photographer at WFXR News, where responsibilities encompassed shooting and editing special projects and news promo spots. With a background as a Photojournalist at WDBJ 7 and WLWT, Curtis has a strong foundation in news and sports photography, employing various camera systems and editing techniques. Curtis's educational journey includes a Certificate of TV Production from Brown College and training at the School of Communication Arts.

Based in Roanoke, Va., Blue Ridge PBS is comprised of four broadcast television channels: WBRA-TV 15.1, Southwest Virginia PTV 15.2, Blue Ridge PBS Kids 15.3 and Blue Ridge PBS Create 15.4.
