Derek Myers

Derek Myers is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in mechatronics and autonomy. Currently serving as Mechatronics Manager at Blue River Technology since November 2016, Derek has advanced through roles as Senior Mechatronics Engineer and Mechatronics Engineer. Prior to this, Derek worked as an Electrical Engineer in research and development at Orchard Machinery Corp. and completed an internship focused on new product development at Plews & Edelmann. Additional experience includes serving as an Engineering Technician at the Irrigation Training and Research Center and as a Lab Assistant at California Polytechnic State University. Derek holds a degree in Bio-Resource and Agricultural Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
