DevOps Engineer at Blue Sentry

Andrew Deweever has a diverse work experience that spans several industries. Andrew started their career in 2012 as a Beach and Parks Patrol for the Burlington Police Department. In 2013, they worked as a Project Specialist at ActionLink, where they set up displays for retail locations.

In 2014, Andrew joined Draker as a Technical Support Engineer, where they worked closely with field technicians to ensure proper functioning of solar PV monitoring systems. Andrew also provided support to the DevOps team in server maintenance. Later that year, they transitioned to the role of Jr. DevOps Engineer at Draker, where they were involved in building and deploying Docker containers, managing the internal company network, and automating deployment processes.

From 2018, Andrew joined AlsoEnergy as a DevOps Manager, leading a team of 6 engineers. Andrew Deweever attended Champlain College from 2009 to 2015, where they studied Digital Forensics. During their time at Champlain College, they did not obtain a degree. In addition, from 2010 to 2012, Andrew Deweever also attended Kean University, focusing on Criminal Justice and Corrections. It is unclear whether they obtained a degree in this field as well. Additionally, Andrew Deweever has obtained various certifications from Linux Academy, including the LPI Linux Essentials, Mastering The Linux Command Line, Introduction To Python 3 On Linux, Git and GitLab - Start to Finish, DevOps Essentials, Linux By Example For Novices To Pros, Linux+ and LPIC-1: System Administrator - Exam 101, Linux+ LPIC Level 1 Exam 1, Linux+ LPIC Level 1 Exam 2, Docker Quick Start, Google Cloud Platform Essentials, and Jenkins Quick Start.
