Perla Sanchez

Perla Sanchez (she/her) holds the position of senior program manager in evaluation and data strategy at Blue Shield of California Foundation. In this capacity, she collaborates with grantees and Foundation teams to ensure comprehensive learning from all initiatives and to gauge progress towards accomplishing strategic objectives.

Before joining the Foundation, Perla served as an analyst at Kaiser Permanente's Division of Research, where she spearheaded data collection efforts and applied her qualitative expertise to support multiple studies centered around diabetes prevention programs, cervical cancer screening, and housing insecurity. With over five years of experience in evaluation and mixed methods research, Perla brings a strong dedication to prevention strategies, health equity, and process improvement.

Perla obtained her bachelor's degree in American studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
