Michael Briggs

Michael Briggs is an experienced manager in provider strategy, data, and analytics, currently leading initiatives at Blue Shield of California since March 2015. Michael has a strong background in healthcare analytics, utilizing Agile and Scrum methodologies to establish a trusted analytics framework. Prior roles include business consultant at Randstad, product manager at Xerox where management of DHCS Medi-Cal strategic goals was achieved, and senior project manager at Health Care Service Corporation. Additional experience includes consulting and business analysis positions at Randstad and Texans Credit Union, along with sales leadership at StorageTek. Michael holds an M.B.A in Healthcare Management from The University of Texas at Dallas and a Bachelor of Science in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from the University of North Texas.
