Pushwaz Virk, MD, has extensive experience in medical leadership and clinical practice, currently serving as Medical Director for Clinical Product Development and Care Innovation & Technology Integration at Blue Shield of California, along with the role of Medical Director for the Health Transformation Lab. Previous positions include Assistant Professor and Attending Physician at the University of California, San Francisco, and Attending Physician in Hospital Medicine at Sutter Health. Additionally, Pushwaz Virk held roles as Chief Medical Information Officer and Medical Director for the Center for Clinical Analytics at Providence St. Joseph Health, and completed an Internal Medicine residency at Cleveland Clinic Akron General. Pushwaz Virk earned a Master of Public Health in Health Care Management from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and has a background in management studies from the Faculty of Management Studies at the University of Delhi.
