Sam Niebank

Sam Niebank, MSHIA, CSSBB, is an experienced professional in business process management and health informatics, currently serving as the Sr. Manager of Business Process Management at Blue Shield of California since April 2015. With a strong background in leading transformation through informatics in the health insurance industry, Sam previously held roles such as Manager of Business Process Management and Lead Analyst for Performance & Data Intelligence at California ISO. Prior to that, an extensive career at United Stationers spanned over two decades, where Sam held various positions, including Operations Manager and West Region Quality Team Leader, focusing on operational excellence and quality improvement initiatives. Sam holds a Master of Science in Health Informatics & Analytics from the University of Arizona, a BS in Business Management and Leadership from Capella University, and is a certified LEAN Six Sigma Black Belt from the Project Management Institute.
