Serhiy Malyy

Serhiy Malyy has over 19 years of experience in the field of software quality assurance and automation testing. Serhiy is currently working as a Lead Automation / RPA Developer at Blue Shield of California, where they are responsible for web automation using Katalon - Selenium WebDriver, Groovy, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Git. Serhiy also has experience in web services automation testing, mobile automation testing, and software quality assurance for financial, medical, and healthcare applications. Prior to their current role, Serhiy worked as a Sr. Automation QA Engineer at UCSF Medical Center, where they set up an automation test environment for enterprise web-based applications. Serhiy has also worked as a Lead QA Analyst at Wells Fargo Bank & Co, where they coordinated collaboration among engineering, product, and QA groups and developed test strategies. Additionally, Serhiy has experience as an SQA Engineer at XIM, Inc, where they conducted testing of wireless web and messaging products for clients such as Nokia and Verizon Wireless.

Serhiy Malyy obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the Polytechnic National University between 1996 and 2000. Later, they pursued further studies in Computer Engineering at Lvov Polytechnic National University. In terms of additional certifications, Serhiy has obtained the following: Microsoft Power Platform Foundations from LinkedIn in October 2023, Robot Framework Test Automation: Sauce Labs from LinkedIn in October 2023, Level II Certification from Robocorp in March 2023, Level I Certification from Robocorp in February 2023 (twice), and Agile Foundations from LinkedIn in February 2021.
