Shannon Cosgrove

Shannon Cosgrove is a seasoned health equity leader currently serving as Senior Director and Chief Health Equity Officer at Blue Shield of California since May 2019. Shannon's expertise spans various roles, including Director of Community Health at the same organization and Director of Health Policy at Cure Violence Global from June 2015 to May 2019. Prior experience includes serving as Deputy Director in the Mayor's Office on Criminal Justice in Baltimore and as Project Manager for Health Equity at YMCA. Shannon began their career at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as a Public Health Advisor and Public Health Prevention Specialist. Academically, Shannon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Health Policy and Administration and a Master of Health Administration, both from Penn State University.
