Liam O'Malley, CAE, PMP (he/him)

Liam O'Malley, CAE, PMP (he/him) has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. Liam began their career as an independent consultant at Grand Junction Design in 2000. In 2003, they joined the American Bar Association as a Technology and Communications Coordinator (Webmaster). In 2006, they moved to the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists as an Application Development Project Manager, where they were promoted to the role of project manager. In 2012, they joined Avectra as a Project Manager. Liam then moved to Higher Logic in 2014, where they served as a Senior Sales Engineer and Sales Engineer. In 2019, they became the Vice President of Association Solutions at Blue Sky eLearn.

Liam O'Malley attended B-CC High School from 1996 to 1999. Liam then attended Drew University in 1999-2000 before transferring to the University of Maryland Baltimore County, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy in 2003. In 2009, they obtained a Certified Association Executive (CAE) certification from ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership. In 2011, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. In 2014, they obtained an Orange Army certification from Higher Logic.
