Shashank Khandelwal has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in different companies. Shashank is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Blue Tiger since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Skylight as the Vice President of Human Services from May 2021 to February 2022, Vice President of Defense Services from January 2020 to May 2021, and as the Digital Transformation Practice Lead from September 2018 to January 2020.

Prior to GSA, Shashank worked at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau as a Software Developer (Design and Technology Fellow) from December 2012 to August 2014. Shashank played a significant role in designing and developing a web-based application for making regulations easily readable and accessible.
Earlier in their career, Shashank worked as a Data Scientist at Penn State University from October 2010 to November 2012, where they designed, developed, and deployed a disease surveillance system based on social media data. Shashank also has experience working as a Software Developer at Optical Image Technology, New Pig Corporation, Orbitz Worldwide, Ambion, Inc, and SQL Star International in various capacities.

Shashank Khandelwal began their education at the International School of Tanganyika from 1985 to 1997 where they completed their International Baccalaureate. Shashank then pursued their Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from The University of Texas at Austin between 1997 and 2002. During the same period, they also obtained another Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences from the same institution. Later, from 2004 to 2006, Shashank attended the University of Iowa to pursue a Masters in Computer Science, but their degree information is not specified.
