Jacob Slobodnik

Jacob Slobodnik has a diverse work experience in various roles related to operations, facilities, and construction. Jacob is currently the Executive Director of Operations for the Blue Valley School District, where they oversee multiple operational aspects and leads a team dedicated to improving educational opportunities for thousands of students. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Facilities and Operations for the same district, responsible for managing facilities operations, maintenance, design, construction, and planning.

Before joining the Blue Valley School District, Slobodnik worked as a Design and Construction Manager and Coordinator for different companies, including Carlson West Povondra Architects and Slobodnik Construction Group, Inc. Jacob also gained experience as an Architectural Designer for Union Pacific Railroad. Additionally, Slobodnik had a brief stint as an Intern Architect at HNTB Architecture, Inc.

In addition to their work in the education sector, Slobodnik pursued their passion for photography by starting their own business called KC.Photography. As the Owner and Photographer, they captured various events, including weddings, engagements, seniors, pets, and newborns.

Jacob Slobodnik completed a Bachelor of Science in Design in Architecture at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 2003 to 2008. Jacob then pursued a Master of Architecture (MArch) degree at the same university from 2008 to 2010. Additionally, in 2008, they briefly studied Architecture at Technological University Dublin.
