Aakash Patel

Aakash Patel is a Principal at Blue Wolf Capital Partners LLC. The Blue Wolf Capital Funds are a family of private equity funds focused on transformational investments in middle market companies.

Mr. Patel joined Blue Wolf in 2013 and serves on the Board of Directors of Blue Wolf portfolio companies Mustang Extreme Environmental Services, LLC, Petrosmith, LLC, and Novo Building Products. He plays a leadership role in Blue Wolf’s investments in the energy services and aerospace & defense sectors.

Before joining Blue Wolf, Mr. Patel was a Vice President at Eos Partners, a New York-based private equity firm investing in middle market companies. While at Eos Partners, Mr. Patel focused on the firm’s investments in the consumer, food, and financial services sectors. From 2006-2008, Mr. Patel was an Associate at Thomas H. Lee Partners, a Boston-based private equity firm, and prior to that, he was an Analyst in Morgan Stanley’s Global Transportation investment banking group.

Mr. Patel received a Bachelor of Science degree from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business and a M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. At NYU Stern, Mr. Patel served as President of both his sophomore and junior classes and as Vice President of the student body as a senior.
