Martin Borup Christensen has worked in various roles since 2010. In 2010, they worked as a Medhjælper at Sæby Møbelsnedkeri. In 2011, they worked as a Servicemedarbejder at Shell. In 2012, they worked as a Servicemedarbejder, o/18 at MENY. From 2019 to 2020, they worked at GRUNDFOS in a variety of roles including Master Student, Student Assistant at the Environmental CoE, and Intership Trainee, Green Supply Chain Management. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as an Underviser/instruktør at WATERGAMES. Since 2022, they have been working as a Sustainability Manager at Blue World Technologies.
Martin Borup Christensen began their educational career in 2002 at Sæbygaardsskolen, where they attended Folkeskole. From 2012 to 2015, they attended Dronninglund Gymnasium, where they earned a STX, Gymnasiel uddannelse with a focus on Matematik A, Biologi A, and Idræt B. In 2015, they began studying at Aalborg University, earning a Bachelor of Science - BS in Global Business Engineering in 2018. In 2018, they continued their studies at Aalborg University, earning a Master of Science - MS in Operations and Innovation Management in 2020.

Blue World Technologies is an ambitious and visionary developer and manufacturer of HT-PEM fuel cell components and systems for stationary and APU applications and the automotive and heavy-duty transportation sectors around the world. The fuel cells act as a green alternative to combustion engines and diesel generators. As a part of the Power-to-X eco-system the methanol fuel cell technology contributes to solving parts of the green transition which cannot be solved by direct electrification and battery technology alone.
