Dr. Illia Babounikau

Dr. Illia Babounikau is a Senior Staff Data Scientist at Blue Yonder, where responsibilities include leading the design and development of advanced forecasting models and ensuring forecast accuracy through quality control measures. As Co-Founder and CEO of FunnyStudy UG, Dr. Babounikau focuses on developing Epistemeland, an educational MMORPG that utilizes AI-driven algorithms to personalize learning experiences. Previous experience includes roles as a Postdoctoral Researcher and PhD Student at DESY, conducting big data analysis for the CMS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider, as well as positions at the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics and various teaching and internship roles in physics and mathematics. Dr. Babounikau holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Hamburg and a Specialist degree from Belarusian State University.
