Bony Thomas is a Research and Development Engineer at Blueair since June 2023, with a strong academic background in materials sciences. During a doctoral candidacy at Luleå University of Technology from October 2018 to December 2022, Bony developed lignin-based carbon aerogels used as electrodes in supercapacitors, studied their microstructure and morphology, and created carbon aerogels/epoxy composites. Bony planned and executed laboratory experiments while supervising master's projects and published findings in international journals, presenting them at conferences. Prior experience includes serving as an ad hoc faculty member at the College of Engineering, Kidangoor, teaching mechanical engineering subjects from November 2014 to September 2015. Bony holds a PhD in Materials Sciences, an MTech in Materials Sciences and Engineering, and a BTech in Mechanical Engineering.
