Mike Deroche

Mike Deroche has a vast work experience in the software engineering field. Mike is currently working as a Principal Software Engineer at Bluebid Homes since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Paceline as a Staff Software Engineer from February 2022 to March 2023. In this role, they focused on building and maintaining Node microservices for an iOS application that aimed to improve preventative health. Mike also rebuilt FlowJS services in TypeScript to calculate viable exercise earned through Fitbit integration.

Before joining Paceline, Mike worked at ENGIE Insight starting in 2015. Mike initially served as a Senior Software Engineer and later progressed to the role of Principal Software Engineer. In these positions, they led a team of engineers to develop an internally used design toolkit and component library for Angular applications. Mike also played a key role in architecting a new customer-facing portal to replace a legacy application. This project involved collaborating with stakeholders from multiple teams and deploying a large-scale Angular and Node application on the Nx development framework.

Mike's earlier work experience includes a role as a Senior Software Engineer at EMC from May 2013 to September 2015.

Mike Deroche obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Mike attended the university from 2009 to 2013.
