James Bergl

James Bergl is the Managing Director at Bluebird, specializing in recruiting top-tier sales talent for start-up and scale-up SaaS businesses since March 2024. Prior experience includes serving as VP Sales, Communities & Ecosystem APAC at Pax8 from April 2022 to February 2024 and as the Chair of the Executive Council ANZ at CompTIA from December 2017 to December 2022, where educational initiatives for the IT channel were emphasized. James has also held the position of Regional Vice President, ANZ at Datto, Inc., contributing to the launch and growth of Datto's ANZ operations from August 2015 to October 2021. Earlier in the career, James served as Director of Sales, APAC at Loughborough University and graduated with a BSc in Management Sciences from the same institution. Additionally, James hosts the podcast "Battle Scars of a SaaS Leader," featuring interviews with successful SaaS leaders in the Asia-Pacific region.
