Vinod K Prasad

Vinod K Prasad currently serves as Vice President and Senior Medical Officer at bluebird bio since July 2023. Prior to this role, Vinod held significant positions at Duke University School of Medicine from November 2003 to October 2023 as Professor of Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant & Cellular Therapy and Director of the Pediatric Blood and Marrow Transplant Fellowship, alongside serving as Director Professor of Pediatric Transplant and Cellular Therapy at Duke University Hospital from October 2020 to July 2023. Earlier experience includes a faculty role in Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplantation at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center from March 1998 to November 2003. Vinod completed a fellowship in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and is pursuing a degree in Healthcare Financial Management for Physician Leaders at Harvard University. Additional qualifications include MRCP and FRCP from the Royal College of Physician in London and an MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College.
