Kyle Merten

Kyle Merten currently serves as a Community and Development Services Representative at Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative, Inc., a position held since July 2018. Prior to this role, Merten was the Director of Alumni Relations at Blinn College Foundation from July 2014 to July 2018 and worked as an Assistant Professor and Extension Specialist at Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service from March 2007 to June 2014. Merten holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Agricultural Leadership, a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Agricultural Education, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Agricultural Science, all obtained from Texas A&M University. Merten's educational journey began at Blinn College and includes attendance at Brenham High School.
