Theresa Alexander

Theresa Alexander has extensive experience in the human services field, currently serving as a Wraparound Facilitator and case manager at Bluebonnet Trails Community Services since February 2019, and as Executive Director at THE OAKS AGENCY since October 2016. Previous roles include Shelter Counselor at the Highland Lakes Family Crisis Center and Case Manager at Lonestar Social Services. Theresa spent over three years as a CPS Caseworker with the State of Texas, managing conservatorship cases and providing ongoing services to children in substitute care. Additionally, Theresa has experience in foster/adopt home development and has worked as an adjunct professor at Upper Iowa University, educating online students about the US Constitution. Holding a Master’s degree in Human Service with a concentration in Nonprofit Management from Capella University and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services from Upper Iowa University, Theresa demonstrates a strong commitment to improving the lives of children and families.
