Michael Perry McBroom, MFA, is an accomplished screenwriter and professional reader with extensive experience in the film and television industry. Currently serving as a Professional Reader for the BlueCat Screenplay Competition since May 2017 and as the Owner of McBroom Scripts, which focuses on crafting compelling screenplays, McBroom has also contributed to various writing projects, including the screenplay for "Broken Dreams: The Faces Behind the Mask" and “BILLY,” a short film about two brothers navigating challenges after abandonment. Past experience includes roles as Writing Lead for Film/TV at GRAYABYSS, LLC, and Intelligence Analyst at L-3 National Security Solutions, where McBroom participated in significant surveillance and reconnaissance operations. McBroom holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Screenwriting and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Creative Writing for Entertainment from Full Sail University.
