Stephen Chen, P.E. possesses a diverse background combining engineering and scriptwriting. With a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Cornell University and a Professional Certificate in Writing for Television from UCLA, Stephen has held various roles in both fields. As a Script Reader for BlueCat Screenplay Competition and Roadmap Writers, Stephen reads and evaluates competition entries while providing feedback. Previous experience includes roles as a Sketch Writer for The Chuckle Boyz and script reading for the Nashville Film Festival and Abbot Entertainment. In engineering, Stephen served as a Project Engineer at BKF Engineers and held multiple positions at CH2M, where leadership in the site civil design for a fully automated port terminal was notable. Additionally, experience includes an internship with the City of Los Angeles assisting with bridge construction projects.
