Rob Stark

Founder and CEO at Bluechip Technologies

Rob Stark has worked in the technology industry since 1998, beginning their career as a Software Engineer at Quadramed (formerly Compucare). At AMS (now CGI) they worked on Proponix, a web-based solution for automating letters of credit between foreign banking institutions. In 2005, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Eye Street Solutions LLC, supporting FEMA during Hurricane Katrina. At the same time, they were a Consultant and Senior Software Engineer at Comsys, working on a Northrop Grumman engagement for the LInX project. From 2006 to 2009, they were the Founder and CEO of Bluechip Technologies, LLC, focused on working with and developing a team of technologists and consultants. In 2008, they worked as a Principle Software Engineer and Manager at General Dynamics Information Technology, supporting the IC community developing RESTful services. From 2009 to 2012, they were the Chief Business Development Officer at Matrix Consulting, LLC, where they supported business development efforts and was certified as a Hadoop developer by Cloudera in 2012. Rob also has experience in the food industry, having worked as a Multi-Unit Bakery Manager and Operations Support Specialist at Cinnabon from 1986 to 1998.

Rob Stark obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Electronic Media Arts from Northern Illinois University between 1988 and 1992. Rob then obtained a Certified Hadoop Developer from Cloudera in May 2012, a Scrum Master from the U.S. Government in March 2009, and an AWS Certified Developer - Associate from Amazon Web Services.
