Jasper Geurts

Jasper Geurts has a diverse work experience that spans across various roles and industries. Jasper started their career in 2008 as a Software Tester at RWE, where they were responsible for functional testing of a SAP implementation. Jasper then worked as a Test Consultant at Squerist BV, where they provided testing consultancy services.

In 2008, Jasper joined Enexis B.V. as a Test Consultant/Coordinator, where they tested a Work Order Management system and coordinated Functional Acceptance Tests and User Acceptance Tests.

Jasper joined Tensing in 2011 as a Test Lead and was responsible for testing the core components of the Tensing Mobility Platform. Jasper also defined the test approach and execution for various customer projects. In 2013, they became a Senior Test Engineer at Tensing International B.V. before transitioning to Salves in 2014 as a Test Consultant.

At Coöperatie DELA from 2014 to 2017, Jasper worked as a Test Coordinator/Test Specialist in two scrum teams, overseeing test case creation, execution, coordination of acceptance tests, and test reporting. Jasper also coordinated functional and user acceptance tests for multiple projects and upgrades, including workspace and data migration.

In 2017, they worked at Radboud University Medical Centre Nijmegen as a Test Coordinator, organizing and strategizing product risk analysis and test execution reporting. Later that year, they joined DLL as a Test Engineer, contributing to testing activities until 2019.

Since 2019, Jasper has been employed at BlueConic, initially as a QA Engineer within the platform team, responsible for all testing activities and creating Automatic Functional Tests. Jasper currently serves as a Scrum Master.

Throughout their career, Jasper has demonstrated strong skills in testing, coordination, and leadership in both Agile and traditional project environments.

Jasper Geurts completed their MBO in Business administration from ROC Nijmegen in the years 2001 to 2004. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Small Business and Retail Management from Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen (HAN) from 2004 to 2008. Additionally, they obtained various certifications, including SAFe 4.0 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in April 2017, Professional Scrum Master I from Scrum.org in March 2017, Tricentis Certified Professional from Tricentis in January 2016, Certified Agile Tester from iSQI GmbH in April 2015, Agile Foundation from Agile Consortium in October 2014, Test Proces Improvement in February 2009, BISL: Business Information Management Foundation from EXIN in August 2008, ITIL: IT Service Management from EXIN in July 2008, and ISTBQ-foundation from ISEB in May 2008.
