Daniel Mortimer, SHRM-CP began their work experience in 2010 as an Admissions Counselor/Recruiter at Mississippi College. Daniel then became the Assistant Director of Career Services in 2013. In 2014, they joined Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi as the Recruiting Liaison. Daniel then worked their way up, holding positions such as Corporate Recruiter, Team Lead of Corporate Recruiting, Manager of Corporate Recruitment, and Manager of Talent Management. Daniel is currently serving as the Director of Talent Management at Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi.
Daniel Mortimer, SHRM-CP, began their education in 2006 at Mississippi College, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological and Biomedical Sciences. Daniel successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2010.
In 2011, Daniel continued their education at Mississippi College and obtained a certificate in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL Language Instruction in 2012.
In February 2016, Daniel obtained the Certified Professional designation from the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).

We partner with community leaders and organizations to make healthy living resources available to all Mississippians through the work of the Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi Foundation, our support of the arts and culture and our Team Blue volunteers.
