Charriet Womble

Charriet Womble, MBA/HCM, CHC, CCEP, currently serves as the Medicare Compliance Officer and Director of Regulatory Compliance at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, where responsibilities include designing and overseeing the regulatory compliance assurance process for Medicare Advantage products and managing internal and external audits. Previous roles include Ethics and Compliance Manager, Lead Clinical Program Consultant at UnitedHealthcare, and Director of Corporate Compliance at Saint Thomas Health. Charriet Womble has a diverse background in compliance, risk assessments, and regulatory oversight within Medicare and Medicaid programs, complemented by experience as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Phoenix. Womble holds an MBA in Health Care Administration from the University of Phoenix and a BS in Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University.
