Jennifer L. Weaver

Jennifer is responsible for developing the enterprise-wide information technology strategy aimed at keeping the organization on the forefront of technological advances. As chief information officer, she aligns current and future information technology capabilities with strategic and operational plans and objectives to meet business needs.

She served most recently as vice president of infrastructure, operations, and end-user services. Jennifer started at BlueCross in 1997 as a business recovery coordinator and has led in various IT leadership roles since, including director of the office of the CIO, director of information technology service management, and manager of network services.

She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in communications from the University of Tennessee and a Master of Science degree in business administration from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She holds certification from the Southeast Chief Information Officer Institute (CIO) from Georgia State University and in Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).

Jennifer currently serves on the board of directors for the Siskin Rehabilitation Hospital and is a mentor in the BlueCross corporate mentoring program.
