Tamkin Avi has a diverse work experience. Tamkin started their career at AXIATA (Bangladesh) Ltd as an intern in the Enterprise Application System Department. During their internship, they developed various projects including an ad hoc middleware using Java, telnet, and thread synchronization. Tamkin also worked on a search query application using C# and Oracle 9i, as well as a web page for meeting room reservation using Asp.net and JavaScript. Tamkin also encoded mission planning to linear programming, SMT, and Pseudo Boolean constraints to find an optimal route. Additionally, they applied a path planning heuristic algorithm to compute the cost between ocean coordinates considering ocean current data.

Tamkin Avi completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Information Technology from the Islamic University of Technology in the years 2004 to 2008. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science, specializing in Research Based studies, from Memorial University of Newfoundland from 2012 to 2014.
